Candle Care & Safety Instructions

Before Burning:

1. Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch (6 mm) before each use to ensure a clean, even burn and prevent soot.

2. Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, flammable items, and out of reach of children and pets.

3. Check for debris—make sure the wax surface is free of matches or wick trimmings.

While Burning:

1. Allow the wax to melt to the edges of the container during the first burn (about 2–3 hours) to prevent tunneling.

2. Never burn longer than 4 hours at a time to avoid overheating.

3. Keep the flame within sight and never leave the candle unattended.

4. Do not move the candle while burning or when the wax is hot.

After Burning:

1. Extinguish the candle with care—use a snuffer or gently blow it out; avoid splattering hot wax.

2. Allow the candle to cool completely before relighting or handling.

3. Stop burning when only 1/4 inch (0.7 cm) of wax remains to prevent overheating the container.
